Northampton Chalk Art Festival returns to celebrate tenth anniversary in Downtown Northampton on Friday, September 13. Walkways on and off Main Street will explode with color during the 10th annual Northampton Chalk Art Festival. I will be located near the children's entrance of the Forbes Library recreating my art (Pickled) in chalk and some soft pastels. Wish me luck and say hello! I will only be there from 8am-noon. I do have class in Greenfield I can not miss, but will be back at 4 afterwards. ...Regardless, visit and have great time.
When: Friday, September 13, 2019 from 10am-5pm; completed drawings on view during Arts Night Out (Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5-8pm)
Where: Downtown Northampton (maps with all locations are available online, at Arts Night Out venues and at the event)
2019 Northampton Chalk Art Festival
The public is also invited to an informal family free draw from 5-7pm behind Thornes Marketplace in the Tuesday Market spot. Plenty of sidewalk chalk will be on hand for anyone who wants to take part in the activity! The Downtown Northampton Association presents the 10th Annual Northampton Chalk Art Festival from 8am-4pm, featuring professional artists and a community free-draw for all ages from 5-7pm.
Chalk art sites are situated along the customary Arts Night Out route, as well as other downtown locations (including Center Street and King Street) so that viewers also have an opportunity to stop at participating galleries and other venues. Festival locations include the Smith College Museum of Art, Forbes Library, Pulaski Park, A2Z Science & Learning Store, Bela, Thornes Marketplace, dmg, Woodstar Cafe and Click Workspace. Maps of the chalk art locations, along with their assigned artists, are available at www.northamptondna.com and printed copies will be distributed by a variety of Arts Night Out venues.
Grace’s artwork was recently displayed (summer of 2018) in a therapeutic massage studio in Downtown Saratoga, NY. All art displayed here will be on display at LARAC's June Arts Festival.
Here I am in Leverett, MA at Leverett Crafts and Arts in the Barnes Gallery. The painting to the right of me is called “MRI: Marbles In My Mouth.” This work was displayed amongst many others in a local exhibit of “Nasty” Women artists, follow the link below to read more about the details of this great event of resistance to negativity and hate in our current political realm.

Also in May of 2017 I exhibited a plaster relief figure sculpture at the Berkshire Nasty Women Art Exhibition and Fundraiser in Pittsfield, MA at the Colonial Theater and the piece sold! (proceeds went to a local charity)
In September I was in a group show at a restaurant in Boston with a couple of my friends Nicole and Angie Dipearro. Shown here are 5 pieces I had in the exhibit. Desperate Man copy of Gustave Courbet, MRI: Marbles in My Mouth, Yawning Self-Portrait sculpture inspired by Franz Xaver Messerschmidt, and Flower Crown Self Portrait. All works exhibited still available for purchase.
Here I am with my dad, brother, and cousin at my reception for my Bachelor of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition at Lesley University's art gallery in Cambridge, MA in December 2013. Currently, 3/4 of all of those paintings sold to collectors of my art. But the painting on the right "Pickled," 40"x 30" is still available for purchase.
